The world says the well off are those on the covers of magazines, the pastors who lead their church onto a list, those who are recognized by everyone.
When you see the above as well off, your goal becomes being well off because you’re on a magazine cover.
Instead of making your goal the pursuit of Jesus through a Hear & Follow relationship.
Instead of making your goal the advancement of Jesus’ Kingdom, no matter the cost.
Being on a list doesn’t make the leader have misplaced intentions…
Some on those lists made the list their goal.
Some on those lists made Jesus’ and his Kingdom their goal.
And from a distance, when I see a major difference between the first type of leader and the second…
The second pay a huge price for advancing Jesus’ Kingdom.
Being on a list, not being on a list…
The well off in Jesus’ Kingdom are the ones willing to pay the price for Hearing & Following Jesus first before anything else.
And because of this relationship, will advance Jesus’ Kingdom as far as humanly possible inside their sphere of influence.
