How a session works
Every session follows the same rhythm. You read the Scripture first, before anything I have to say about it. Then the teaching, short enough to read in a few minutes, or watch if you’d rather. You rate yourself honestly, take the Challenge into your week, and close by asking God for something you can’t pull off on your own.
Fifteen minutes of pushing back the chaos to let God speak.
Open wide. Then cut.
Most people discover their Purpose one step at a time. So each module opens wide: four sessions of writing down everything that comes to mind, including the things you’d normally talk yourself out of. Then the recap makes you cut. Not to the three that sound impressive. To the three you keep coming back to. Three modules of narrowing leave you with one sentence.
You can’t pick the right words out of thin air. You can pick them out of everything you wrote down.
Who it’s for

Why I built this
I spent years with a thought I couldn’t shake: there’s more in me I must do. I ignored it and chased what I could do instead. Years of ministry in churches, and it was good work. A church plant that was a loss. A business that was a draw. Then I sat with that same thought while working a job I was good at, at the top of my industry, paid well, and I walked away from it to do what I must do, because God wired me this way.
I’ve spent 25+ years leading in churches, organizations and as a business owner. I kept seeing leaders run hard in their own strength until they burned out or blew up. Not because they lacked effort, but because nobody had ever helped them name why they were there. I built The Purpose Course out of the work I’d done with those leaders, so the way out is repeatable instead of accidental.

How long does it take?
40 sessions, one a day, is about eight weeks of weekdays. But it’s self-paced. Go faster or slower, whatever fits your life.
What if I fall behind?
Most people miss days. Pick it back up where you left off.
What makes this different from other purpose books?

Is this only for church leaders?

Do I need to know the Bible well?
No. Every session gives you the passage and the teaching. You don’t need background.
